This time the Hajj will start on July 7, 2022. The Saudi government banned Umrah pilgrims from June 26, 2022, to facilitate Hajj pilgrims. Therefore, the question that arises in the minds of the people of the United Kingdom is “When will the people of the United Kingdom have the opportunity to visit the Kaaba after the Hajj?” This is not a question for Muslims in Britain, this is for Muslims all over the world. The answer to this exciting question is after the month of Hajj, ie August.
How many opportunities will the inhabitants of the UK have to visit the Kaaba?
There are many opportunities for people living in the UK but all are acceptable if they are Muslims. Being a Muslim is the first and last condition for visiting the Kaaba. The state always keeps the gates of Mecca closed to non-Muslims. The Kaaba is a very important sacred building in Islam. This holy building is located in the Masjid al-Haram, ie in the city of Mecca.
Opportunities for residents of the UK:
• Visit the Relatives
In previous years, there was no idea of going to Saudi Arabia for tourism. But this opportunity was given to the people of Britain at the end of Hajj 2019. The Saudi government has issued a special visa for tourism, called a “visit visa”. After obtaining this period of the visa, any Muslim can come to Mecca for multiple entrances to the Masjid al-Haram.
The validity of the visit visa is 1 year, but each of them who has a visit visa must leave the country for the next entry after 3 months (90 days). Now Muslims can get it while booking the Umrah Packages as they can also do Umrah on this type of visa.
Umrah is relatively short of Hajj in terms of importance. This is Sunnah, which means non-obligatory worship. And this worship is not completed until the participant of Umrah rotates around the Ka’bah seven times in a counterclockwise direction. According to various Muslim scholars, this is a sacred journey that begins after entering the ihram and ends at the Masjid al-Haram.
The rituals of Umrah:
Due to the fifth pillar of the Islamic building, Hajj is obligatory worship. In the books of Qur’an and Hadith, there is no mention of performing Umrah at least once or more. But the Qur’an mentions performing Hajj at least once. And this command of Allah is not for those who cannot perform it financially or physically. But knowingly giving up, despite having all the means to do so, is tantamount to sin. It is also called the annual pilgrimage. Muslims have the opportunity to visit the Kaaba for 4 days of Dhu al-Hijjah.

What’s the meaning of the 4 days of Dhul Hijjah?
Hajj begins on the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah and continues till the 12th of this lunar month. These are the dates of Hajj this year; July 7 to July 12.
Rituals of Hajj:
2. Tawaf ul Ziarah
10. Tawaf ul Wada
On the ninth day of the Hajj, Muslims visit the valleys of Arafat and Muzdalifah. At the beginning of the 10th day, they come to Mina where they perform the ritual of Jamrat, Qurbani, Qasr and Tawaf of Kaaba.
This is the general term for each country’s visa. Almost all countries offer this opportunity to business people in their countries. Business increases the income of any country and provides opportunities for people to earn money. Therefore, the Saudi government offers this opportunity to increase employment and provide a source of maximum income nationally and internationally. But the only condition here is to be a Muslim first. Otherwise, they can’t visit the Kaaba.
Visit the Relatives:
There are no barriers to visiting relatives in Saudi Arabia. In the old days, if you came to Mecca for business or to visit relatives on any occasion, you did not need any permission to perform Umrah. This is not possible for all Muslims today. Because the coronavirus has changed the old ways and methods. Now, UK residents have to mention all their plans before coming to the country. However, they are fortunate to have relatives in Makkah and there is no limit to frequent visits to the Kaaba.
There will be many opportunities for British people to visit the Kaaba after the Hajj. Umrah, business, tourism, visiting relatives, etc. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah will open the Kingdom’s doors to Umrah pilgrims in early August.
